Save-A-Grave 2023 Committee Notes
April 21st, 2023 - CLEAN-UP DAY Locke Cemetery
Men of the Save-A-Grave Committee met a Locke Cemetery for a clean-up day. It is located on Indian Creek Road on the West side of Mineral Wells at coordinates: 32.82060, -98.19310 just past the Brazos River Gun Club. Camp Members in attendance were Committee Chairman, Jack Sparks, and members, Jim Harvey, and Curtis Scott.
February 9th, 2023 - CLEAN-UP DAY Rescheduled
"Due to a cold, perhaps wet forecast for Thursday, Feb 2nd, the Cemetery cleanup is rescheduled for Thursday, Feb 9th. We will meet at Maverick (281 and I-20) at 9:00am.

At the January 19th Camp meeting, the SAVE-A-GRAVE Committee members voted to clean the Wallace Cemetery on Thursday, February 2nd. Members agreed to meet at the Mavericks restaurant at 9:00am. Mavericks is located on Hwy281, one block south of I20

The cemtery is named for Confederate Pvt. William Riley Wallace. He is buried in the cemetery and his headstone is in need of some cleaning as well.
